The Center for Service and Leadership is a department that strives to help students engage in a multitude of activities meant to help the surrounding communities. The CSL has raised thousands of dollars for multiple charities over the years, as well as thousands of volunteer service hours to various locations.

  • 260,453 pounds of food raised for Beat Auburn Beat Hunger
  • 25,353 mentor hours for Al’s Pals Mentoring Program

Beat Auburn Beat Hunger

Beat Auburn Beat Hunger is a statewide event collecting food for the West Alabama Food Bank and East Alabama Food Bank. Help UA in the challenge to collect more canned goods than Auburn University. All of the food is donated to The West Alabama Food Bank!

Al’s Pals

Al’s Pals is a mentoring program for at-risk elementary students in the Tuscaloosa community. It’s a great way to be a role model for the local youth!
